Ladders is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join a leader in Aerospace & Defense. The role centers on keeping mission-critical cloud infrastructure reliable, scalable, and secure, with ownership of production Kubernetes and EKS health while collaborating with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and observability.

This remote position is open to US-based candidates only and offers a compensation range of $180,000–$220,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Production Engineering, SRE, or similar role.
• Hands-on Kubernetes beyond basic deployment.
• Experience upgrading Kubernetes/EKS production clusters.
• Solid AWS fundamentals (VPCs, IAM).
• Proficient with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with CI/CD like Argo CD or Jenkins.
• Ability to diagnose production infrastructure and networking issues.

For our client, we are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space.

This role will focus on keeping mission-critical cloud infrastructure reliable, scalable, and secure in a highly technical environment. You will own the health of production Kubernetes and EKS platforms while partnering closely with engineering teams to improve deployment processes, observability, and operational readiness. The work will involve hands‑on infrastructure management across AWS, with an emphasis on automation, troubleshooting, and disciplined execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $180,000 – $220,000 annually
