Precision Group is looking for a Site Radiation Safety Officer to manage the safe handling, use, and disposal of radioactive materials in oil and gas extraction operations in Hobbs, New Mexico. This role involves developing and maintaining radiation safety programs in compliance with regulations and conducting regular inspections.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant Bachelor's degree and at least three years of experience in radiation safety, with the ability to train others and communicate effectively regarding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiation safety, preferably in oil and gas or mining.
• Certification as a Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) or equivalent recognized credential.
• Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state radiation safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain radiation safety programs for site operations.
• Conduct routine radiation surveys and inspections to monitor compliance.
• Provide training to site personnel on radiation safety protocols.
