Job summary

Cummins Inc. in York, SC is seeking a Site Quality Leader to drive the quality system, champion product quality, and lead Quality Engineers, Calibration and Metrology teams on site. You will implement Lean/Six Sigma methodologies, ensure IATF compliance, and push for Right First Time performance across the plant.

The role emphasizes developing the quality organization, deploying new technologies, and aligning with sustainability and strategic quality initiatives at a 100% on-site facility.

Qualifications

• Engineering or related technical degree required or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years of manufacturing or automotive industry experience.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Quality Strategy to develop and improve the plant quality system.
• Champion Product Quality by overseeing QA processes and product quality performance.
• Develop high-performing teams of Quality Engineers, Calibration, and Metrology.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean, Six Sigma, IQTM and structured problem-solving.
• Ensure compliance and audit readiness with IATF standards and customer requirements.
