Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Site Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives in a manufacturing environment in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on issue resolution, supporting new product launches, and applying robust quality tools to prevent defects.

You will train production staff, release rework instructions, and drive continuous improvement with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of relevant experience, ASQ CQE/CQA, and familiarity with Lean/Six Sigma and automotive

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant quality experience in manufacturing
• ASQ certification (CQE or CQA) preferred
• Experience with quality tools and problem solving
• Experience with automotive or Tier-1 suppliers is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manages issues and problem solving for customers and internal teams
• Supports new product launches with PFMEA and control plan development
• Applies quality tools (8D, QRCM) during incidents and training
• Defines rework instructions and issues related alerts when needed
• Participates in part rejection analyses with customers for 0km and warranty
• Visits customers to build long-term relationships and feedback loops
• Leads preventive actions and monitors quality production indicators
