Job summary

Cummins Inc. is seeking a Quality System Technician for 1st shift in York, SC. You will conduct internal audits, lead root cause analyses, and manage corrective actions to maintain a robust QMS.

Training across AIAG tools will be part of your responsibilities, with strong emphasis on risk-based thinking. The role requires coordinating ISO/IATF audits, maintaining audit schedules, and contributing to the Quality Manual to reflect the business management system.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent business experience.
• IATF 16949 + ISO 9001 Internal Auditor Trained.
• Six Sigma Green Belt training with AIAG core tools (APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, MSA).

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits (QMS, manufacturing, product) and plan trainings.
• Lead root cause analysis for corrective actions and track resolution.
• Manage audit schedules for ISO/IATF audits and manufacturing process audits.
• Support AIAG Core Tools training (FMEA, APQP, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
• Document quality processes and maintain Quality Manual references.
