Job summary

IDEX is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site quality function, drive defect reduction, audits, and regulatory alignment. The role challenges you to embed quality into daily operations and collaborate across operations, engineering, and supply chain.

You will own the quality management system, mentor a team across shifts, and ensure audit readiness with customer satisfaction as a primary objective. This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role in a lean manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing/quality experience.
• 3+ years of team leadership in a manufacturing setting.
• Experience owning quality systems, audits, and regulatory or customer requirements.
• Experience in lean or continuous improvement environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site quality team, including hiring and performance management.
• Own site quality performance including defect rates, yield, and audit outcomes.
• Oversee inspection, testing, and quality control processes for consistency and effectiveness.
• Lead internal, customer, and regulatory audits and respond with robust actions.
• Drive cross-functional improvements to reduce variability and improve product performance.
