Job summary

IDEX seeks a Quality Engineer to join a dynamic Product Development Team, working with engineering and Senior Electronics Engineers to document and verify functional, regulatory and environmental requirements for electronic products. You will support legacy and new designs, identify quality trends with the RMA group, and ensure compliance with ISO standards across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in either quality, engineering, supply chain management or manufacturing processes.
• Must be able to travel as needed to support regional activities.
• 5+ years' experience with at least 2 years in a supplier quality role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to read, analyze and interpret technical information.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and implementation of quality vision, strategy, policies and processes.
• Work with Engineering to develop standards for hardware across business units.
• Coordinate with Contract Manufacturers to address problems and develop standards.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for supplier and contract manufacturer quality issues.
• Administer ISO 9001:2015 quality system requirements across sites.
