Job summary

Voith US Inc. is seeking a Construction & Commissioning Quality Engineer to lead site quality activities for hydroelectric construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.

You will ensure quality requirements are implemented and verified at site to support safe, compliant project execution. You will interface with Voith project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customer inspectors, manage documentation, NCRs, and corrective actions, and promote preventive quality through

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred.
• Experience in construction quality, commissioning quality, site quality, or related roles.
• Experience in hydroelectric/power generation environments preferred.
• Ability to collaborate with customers, site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Lead site quality activities during construction, installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover.
• Develop, review, and execute site-specific Quality Plans and ITPs; maintain checklists and schedules.
• Coordinate with Project Quality Managers, site leadership, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain Quality to align expectations.
• Manage NCRs, corrective actions, and quality records to ensure contract compliance and closure.
• Support customer witness inspections and turnover activities; promote prevention-based quality through lessons learned.
