Job summary

Join the Overland Contracting (a Black & Veatch company) construction team as a Field QC professional in Overland Park, KS. You will identify complex site inspections and ensure work complies with codes and specifications while guiding Quality Inspectors and staff on site.

You will promote Black & Veatch QC policies, manage non-conformances, and support project schedules with accurate documentation and reporting. The role demands safety-first execution and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Experience in site quality inspections and adherence to codes/specifications.
• Ability to mentor field staff and manage non-conformances.
• Comfort with field-based, physical inspection work and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and inspect complex site work to ensure compliance with codes/specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, suppliers, and field staff to verify quality.
• Maintain and promote QC policies, records, and reports on project sites.
• Oversee Non-Conformance Program and support punch list activities.
