Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Site QA/QC Manager for a mission critical project in Jefferson, AL. You will plan and execute QM operations, coordinate with construction crews, and ensure adherence to specifications.

You will manage QA/QC resources, monitor materials, and report on quality across multiple disciplines while supporting schedule and budget considerations. This role requires extensive field experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years in construction with a general building focus.
• Experience with welding and certification in code stamps is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical trades including piping and HVAC is required.
• Cx (Commissioning) experience with HVAC equipment is highly desired.
• Proficient with QA/QC systems and MS-based software.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe working environment and oversee QA/QC activities.
• Manage QA/QC inspectors and coordinate materials and punch lists.
• Oversee contract documents, risk, and project budgets.
• Lead welding and bolting quality control across disciplines.
• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and managers to meet project objectives.
• Establish metrics for inspections and root-cause analysis under ISO 9001.
