Job summary

Batchelor & Kimball is seeking a Quality Control Manager for our Apex, NC facility to provide QA/QC services across daily operations. You will plan and execute QM activities, coordinate with the construction crew, and be the main contact for internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.

The role requires extensive QA/QC experience in construction, welding code knowledge, and ability to manage multiple teams while upholding ISO 9001 standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction with a contractor engaged in general building.
• Certification and experience with welding and relevant QA/QC systems.
• Proficient with QA/QC platforms and tracking/metrics tools.
• OSHA10 or 30-hour certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working environment at all times on site.
• Oversee quality inspectors and third-party resources.
• Coordinate quality acceptance with project teams and equipment reviews.
• Ensure compliance with ASME/AWS/IPC/AWWA/UPC codes for welding.
• Lead QA/QC activities to meet ISO 9001 standards.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers and managers to reach project goals.
• Identify non-conformances and drive corrective/preventive actions.
