Freeport-McMoRan Inc. is seeking a seasoned Project Controls leader to oversee project controls across multiple plant engineering projects.

The role focuses on cost estimating, control, forecasting, progress measurement, planning and reporting, guiding a team of engineers, schedulers, and surveyors toward consistent, accurate project execution. The position requires extensive experience with ERP systems (SAP, P6) and a solid understanding of accounting, with MSHA site training.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and eight years of project controls or equivalent work experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent and twelve years of project controls or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Ability to multi-task in a high paced project environment.
• Experience with ERP system, SAP, P6, and Other Enterprise Project Performance Software.
• Understanding of Accounting functions and systems.
• Site specific training/MSHA required to work at site.

Mansioni

• Lead the project controls functions across multiple plant engineering projects at Freeport-McMoRan sites.
• Develop, implement, and manage cost estimating, cost control, forecasting, progress measurement, planning and scheduling, and performance reporting processes.
• Provide leadership and technical guidance to Cost Leads, Engineers, Schedulers/Planners, and Quantity Surveyors.
• Drive project performance through cost and schedule management and risk mitigation.
• Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts with variance explanations and risk considerations.
• Oversee weekly, monthly, and quarterly project controls reports.
