Job summary

HArts Design+Build in San Jose, CA is seeking a Construction Project Assistant to keep office and field teams running from pre-construction through final inspections. This role blends site support with administrative duties in a fast-paced residential design-build firm.

You’ll document and manage projects, assist with procurement and estimates, coordinate client and subcontractor communications, and help ensure quality from site visits to last details.

Qualifications

• Reliability and punctuality are essential.
• Willingness to balance office admin with field support.
• Ability to travel to job sites in the South Bay area.
• Growth mindset and commitment to role for at least a year.

Responsibilities

• Site Preparation: protect client homes with floor protection and dust barriers.
• Active Site Support: assist with demolition, debris, and loading the company van.
• Maintenance & Photography: visit sites 2–3 times weekly to document progress.
• Tool Stewardship: clean and maintain tools and organize parts.
• Logistics & Errands: occasional pickups from suppliers.
