Job summary

SUEZ is seeking a site supervisor for HWRC operations to oversee daily activities, ensure safety and environmental compliance, and drive recycling performance. You will manage staffing, records, and reporting while upholding SUEZ policies and budget targets.

Strong leadership and communication are essential; experience in HWRC environments and a relevant waste management qualification are required or must be achieved within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising and developing engaged teams to meet high operating standards.
• Experience operating HWRCs and ensuring maximum recycling and safety.
• Possess a waste management qualification or be able to achieve one within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site operations and ensure full compliance with policies and procedures.
• Prioritise resources and staffing to meet weekly targets and budgets.
• Maintain and control operational documents and records; monitor performance data.
• Deputise for HWRC Manager as required and act as a role model for safety and efficiency.
