We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Site Manager to join our waste and recycling management team!

Your Role:

As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing waste collection, disposal, and recycling operations to ensure they are efficient, compliant, and meet customer needs. You will manage resource allocation (people and equipment), handle customer complaints, ensure safety and compliance standards are met, and collaborate with the District Manager to create and monitor budgets and P&L results.

• Supervise and manage the activities of waste collection, disposal, and recycling teams
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental and safety standards
• Develop, implement, and optimize operational procedures to improve efficiency and service quality
• Analyze and monitor operational performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Lead, manage, and train staff, providing coaching and guidance to ensure high performance
• Work closely with other departments to optimize route planning and resource allocation
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution
• Maintain detailed operational records, including service logs, maintenance schedules, and compliance reports
• Oversee regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a safe working environment
• Manage the maintenance and repair of equipment and vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistics, or a related field preferred
• Proven experience as an operations manager or supervisor, preferably in the waste management or transportation industry
• In-depth knowledge of waste management practices, regulations, and safety standards
• Excellent leadership, team management, and decision-making skills
• Proficiency in using operational management software and other relevant computer applications
• Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
