Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Site Operations Manager for the Electrical team in Fridley, Minnesota. The role oversees lab operations, drives revenue, and optimizes processes to maximize margins, with up to 15% travel.

Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, 5 years in operations management, and strong leadership and communication skills. On-site work is required with comprehensive benefits and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Management or technical discipline.
• 5 years of operations management experience in a technical environment.
• 3 years of budget management and P&L responsibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must be willing to work onsite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee lab within an assigned location.
• Responsible for the revenue/cost/EBIT for the location and drive towards maximization.
• Identify/improve processes to enhance efficiencies and margins.
• Coordinate with other working groups to reach goals.
• Mentor and develop management staff by setting objectives.
• Hit KPIs and service level indicators.
• Make recommendations on capital expenditures and other initiatives.
• Investigate and promote new business opportunities.
