Job summary

KNAPP is seeking a Manager Site Operations in Delaware, OH to lead the on-site team responsible for maintaining automated storage and retrieval systems and related picking processes. You will oversee budgets, ensure safety, and maintain strong customer relationships while driving continuous improvement across maintenance and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to strengthen Knapp’s reputation
• Provide value that our Customer can see and understand
• Gain a positive reputation by providing a rapid and effective support
• Manage site budgets and associated commercial activities
• Oversee tasks by developing team skillsets to ensure delivery of defined SLA
• Oversee on-site representations of system improvements and installations
• Oversee all training requirements, both technical and regulatory
• Mentor, coach, teach and develop on-site staff and resources
• Increase the scope and efficiency of Knapp’s support solutions
• Be an effective manager focused on team development
• Provide guidance to your team to meet timeframes for reactive repairs
• Interact with on-site and off-site management to keep them informed
• Provide accountability for Health & Safety and risk assessment
• Provide monthly summary and detailed reports
• Improve service level and optimize resource utilization
• Manage maintenance personnel and spares inventory
• Plan and implement system security policy
• Escalate and resolve resource issues as needed
• Liaise with Customer’s Operations Shift Managers and supplier managers
• Assess and report MHE progress and attendance at meetings
• Assist with MHE QA and HSE compliance
• Approve revised MHE documents and correspondence
• Manage MHE and the Maintenance Cost Plan
• Monitor progress of sub-suppliers
• Ensure timely supply of MHE maintenance hardware
• Maintain the MHE Health and Safety File
• Custodian of escalation procedures related to MHE maintenance
• Participate in performance training and improvement programs
• Respond to emergency calls and perform other duties as required
