Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. seeks an Operations Manager to oversee the receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of materials to customers in the Chesapeake area.

You will ensure health and safety compliance and maintain assets and building grounds. This role leads site operations, manages budgets, drives continuous improvement, and coordinates with sales and other departments to achieve on-time, cost-effective performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum BS/BA in business, industrial engineering, distribution or related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in distribution/production.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in management/supervisory position.
• Knowledge of industrial engineering, human resources laws and regulations, and employee relations skills.
• Experience managing other managers.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of materials and services to customers.
• Ensures health and safety compliance per laws and company training.
• Manages budget and controls expenses for the operations function.
• Plans and manages site goals, cadence, and quarterly reviews; drives continuous improvement.
• Communicates with sales and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
