Job summary

Carmeuse North America is seeking a Site Operations Manager for our Davenport, IA facility. This role leads production, maintenance, safety, quality, and budgeting to meet plant objectives while upholding regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

The successful candidate will drive capital projects, optimize operations, coach site leadership, manage costs, and maintain strong relationships with regional teams and regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, mining, business, or related field.
• Minimum five years in mining or heavy industrial operations with management experience.
• Experience leading large operational teams and driving improvements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and sustain a zero-injury culture at the site.
• Provide leadership to ensure safety policy and MSHA compliance.
• Plan, allocate, and manage resources and budgets for site objectives.
• Monitor environmental performance and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain site housekeeping and environmental stewardship.
• Lead liaison with regulatory agencies and inspections.
