Job summary

Carmeuse is seeking a Production Manager to lead a team in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment in the United States. You will ensure safe, efficient production of lime and stone, coordinate maintenance outages, and drive continuous improvement across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mining, Business or related field.
• 2+ years of managerial experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Experience leading operations and safety compliance in large facilities.
• Fluency in English with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the workforce to meet or exceed production specifications for lime/stone.
• Provide safety leadership, training, and regulatory interface.
• Coordinate repairs during outages to reduce downtime and maintain flow.
• Explain variances from the daily plan and drive improvements.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling meetings, and feedback to teams.
• Utilize SAP production modules and ensure quality standards.
• Manage overtime and respond to customer and sales requirements.
• Support maintenance, engineering, and supervisory staff with tactical decisions.
