Job summary

Henry Schein, Inc. seeks an experienced Operations leader to run daily site operations in a large facility, including warehousing, fulfillment, and manufacturing support.

You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining regulatory compliance and a strong P&L focus. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in operations management, proven leadership in dynamic settings, and a track record of cost reduction and process improvements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Operations Management in Warehousing, Distribution or Manufacturing.
• Experience in a regulated environment.
• Proven leadership and management skills in a high growth and dynamic environment.
• Ability to attract, retain, motivate, develop and mentor team members for high performance.
• Ability to influence, build relationships, understand organizational complexities, manage conflict and navigate politics.
• Experience with KPI reporting development and a continuous improvement mentality.
• Proven ability to lead and drive change in a dynamic business environment.
• Budgeting and forecasting experience required.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
• Independent decision making, analysis and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the site, including talent development, safety, manufacturing, warehousing, fulfillment, and distribution to achieve operational targets.
• Manage site MSO P&L with focus on cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
• Develop and maintain Site metrics on cost, service, and quality.
• Partner with site leaders to drive standardization and support consolidation.
• Lead the site in a matrix organization with clear direction and collaboration.
• Lead projects supporting expansion of operational activities and continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and growth.
• Ensure compliance with EHS policies and federal/state regulations.
• Serve as primary site liaison with commercial teams and partners.
• Support execution of site strategy and alignment with manufacturing goals.
• Contribute to annual operating and capital expenditure planning.
• Build organizational capabilities and talent for current and future needs.
• Recruit, develop, and evaluate employees for high performance.
• Ensure effective inventory control and address discrepancies.
