Job summary

The O&M Site Lead at KBR Careers will coordinate daily site operations and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable facility performance. You will lead maintenance teams, oversee contractors, and drive compliance with regulatory and customer requirements at the Santa Clara site.

Contingent upon contract award, the role requires strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, plus a commitment to safety and continuous improvement in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in engineering tech or related field.
• At least 3 years in operations, maintenance, facilities, or related industrial settings.
• Experience leading or coordinating maintenance activities in a team.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities for safe site performance.
• Direct and support technicians, operators, and contractors in scheduled and corrective work.
• Monitor equipment performance and system reliability to improve efficiency.
• Implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company policies.
• Coordinate work schedules, outages, and activities to minimize downtime.
• Investigate equipment failures and safety incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Maintain maintenance records, histories, work orders, and reports.
• Support inventory management and procurement of parts and contractor oversight.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and capital projects.
