Job summary

KBR is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Site Lead (Contingency) to coordinate daily site operations and maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient performance of facility assets. This on-site role requires technical guidance to teams and collaboration with contractors and stakeholders for asset availability and compliance.

The position emphasizes safety culture, accountability, and continuous improvement, with the contract contingent on award.

Qualifications

Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years in operations, maintenance, facilities, utilities, or similar industrial environments.
Experience leading or coordinating maintenance and operational activities in a team setting.
Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities for safe, efficient site performance.
Direct and support maintenance technicians, operators, and contractors in scheduled and corrective work.
Monitor equipment performance and system reliability; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and asset availability.
Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance per site procedures.
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company policies.
Coordinate work schedules, outages, and activities to minimize downtime and interruptions.
Investigate failures and incidents; assist with root-cause analysis and corrective action; maintain records.
