Job summary

KBR’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) Site Lead role focuses on coordinating daily site operations and maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient asset performance. The on-site leader provides technical guidance to staff while aligning with regulatory requirements and customer needs.

The position emphasizes safety culture, continuous improvement, and close collaboration with site leadership, contractors, and stakeholders to optimize maintenance execution and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechanical Technology, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years in operations, maintenance, facilities, utilities, manufacturing, energy, or similar industrial environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating maintenance and operational activities in a team setting.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and control systems.
• Familiarity with safety regulations, maintenance practices, and operational procedures.
• Strong communication, organizational, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations and maintenance activities to ensure safe and efficient site performance.
• Direct and support maintenance technicians, operators, and contractors in scheduled and corrective work.
• Monitor equipment performance and system reliability, identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and asset availability.
• Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs per site requirements.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, and company policies.
• Coordinate schedules, outages, and activities to minimize downtime and service interruptions.
• Investigate equipment failures and safety incidents, assist with root cause analysis and corrective action, and maintain accurate records.
