Job summary

Tacit in San Francisco is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee daily data collection operations, supervise staff, and ensure projects are executed safely and per protocols. You will serve as the primary on-site lead for office and facility operations, keeping the site organized and fully operational to support business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline or hourly teams.
• Experience hiring, onboarding, training, and managing employees.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Experience with staffing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience reviewing timecards, expense reports, payroll-related documentation, or operational records preferred.
• Experience in research operations, data collection, logistics, hospitality, or similar operational environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise a team of Data Collection Technicians and regularly direct the work of at least two full-time employees or their equivalent.
• Participate in interviewing, hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, disciplinary actions, and termination decisions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and team performance.
