Job summary

The Harbor Light site in Detroit seeks a Site Administrator to lead daily operations, drive strategic planning, budgeting, and program development. The role ensures cost-effective service delivery, regulatory compliance, and strong liaison with funding sources while representing the organization in community interactions.

Ideal candidates hold a Michigan credential in substance abuse, 4+ years of supervision, and complete Safe From Harm training. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Qualifications

• Master’s in health/human services, business or public admin, or a bachelor’s with equivalent experience.
• Appropriate State of Michigan substance abuse credentials.
• At least four years of supervisory experience.
• Valid Michigan Chauffeur License and MVR approval.
• T.B. test, police clearance, and MDOC LEIN clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and manage site day-to-day operations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans, budgets, and programs.
• Ensure services are delivered cost-effectively and in compliance.
• Liaise with funding sources and report accurately.
• Oversee safety, HIPAA access, documentation, and staff supervision.
• Maintain facilities, respond to emergencies, and ensure policy adherence.
