Thompson Pipe Group in Rialto, CA is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to direct end-to-end plant activities and drive efficiency across manufacturing, distribution, maintenance, QA, and safety. You will set targets, lead cost controls, and collaborate with leaders to deliver reliable results.

The role demands a commercial mindset, strong communication, and proven ability to scale operations with effective delegation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing operations management across people, products, resources, budgets, change and quality.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing; construction/building materials preferred.
• Commercial mindset with engagement at all levels up to C-suite.
• Proven ability to structure large operations and delegate through leaders.
• Ownership of product quality and proactive issue prevention/resolution.
• Fluent in operations, sales and project management; strong communication.
• Proficient in budgets, P&L, cost control and analytical decision-making.
• Microsoft Office suite (MS Office, MS Project, Visio) proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct end-to-end operations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
• Design and deploy scalable policies, procedures, and operating mechanisms.
• Set targets, collect/analyze metrics, present insights to stakeholders.
• Lead budget creation and ownership of P&L; manage costs and drive data-based decisions.
• Build capability with clear goals, feedback, and development plans for leaders and teams.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and strengthen plant safety, processes, and training.
• Partner with EHS, HR, Maintenance, Logistics and other functions.
• Identify growth opportunities to advance company objectives and reputation.
