Job summary

Sapphire Recruitment is partnering with an innovative advanced manufacturing company in the North Syracuse, NY area to hire a Site Operations Coordinator. This role provides administrative, facilities, and operational coordination support to ensure daily activities, vendor services, and small projects run smoothly.

The position offers a 1st shift (Mon-Fri) with flexible hours on a 5-6 month contract, plus an attractive project completion bonus.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Administrative, office, operations, or project coordination experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and action-oriented with strong follow-through.
• Comfortable working independently and interacting with employees throughout the facility.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outside vendors, contractors, and facility services, including scheduling, building access, and follow-up.
• Assist with organizing facility space to accommodate warehouse and material storage needs.
• Coordinate small projects, track outstanding tasks, and follow up with employees to ensure completion.
• Provide administrative support, including visitor coordination, interview scheduling, and meeting preparation.
• Assist with employee onboarding, technician training schedules, and related administrative activities.
• Communicate with employees, vendors, and management to address operational needs and keep projects moving forward.
