Lao Family Community Development, Inc. is hiring a Site Monitor to join the CARE Campus team in Oakland, CA.

This full-time role supports a housing program for unhoused re-entry populations, serving as the first staff responder during emergencies and ensuring program integrity during core hours. The Site Monitor will assist participants with requests, monitor safety and security, and handle front-office tasks such as verification, mail handling, food service support, and maintaining an organized

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Some knowledge of computer skills: Microsoft Office, Google Suite, databases, Chrome, and Internet Explorer.
• Strong communication, public speaking and team collaboration skills.
• Able to pass a background check and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as the primary point of contact for participants, addressing concerns and assisting with CARE Campus services.
• Observe participant activities, report safety or operational concerns, and provide behavior redirection as needed.
• Monitor campus security operations, including gate access, visitor policies, and curfews.
• Assist with security coverage, gate protocol, and logging of security events.
• Conduct routine patrols and inspections, address safety and maintenance issues.
• Monitor surveillance systems and respond to incidents in coordination with the Site Supervisor.
• Complete DARs and mandated reports in real time and communicate during shift handoffs.
• Maintain confidentiality of participant, program, and organizational information and comply with policies and laws.
