Job summary

Graham is seeking a Site Manager for the Cenovus site in Lima, Ohio. You will direct maintenance activities on an industrial plant, ensuring safety, quality, and client standards are met while coordinating with HSSE and site leadership.

You will mentor the maintenance team, manage budgets, and drive improvements across the region, with travel as required and a focus on delivering KPI outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of experience in maintenance/supervision.
  • Experience as superintendent in heavy industrial plants/refineries and/or maintenance projects.
  • Strong knowledge of safety, environmental and quality systems.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance activities on an industrial plant site.
  • Ensure safety, environmental and QA system compliance and client procedures.
  • Lead and mentor maintenance team; drive continuous improvement and cost control.

About The Role

This is a Full-Time position at the Cenovus site in Lima, Ohio. This position is responsible for the organization, direction, supervision and coordination of maintenance activities on an industrial plant site.

As a Site Manager at Graham, you will:
  • Compliance with the Company and client’s safety environmental system’s standards and legislative requirements as well as safety processes, audits, programs and initiatives in liaison with HSSE and in relation to routine maintenance work preparation and execution.
  • Compliance with the QA system and tools, including the OSP and Client Procedures, to ensure quality of work and continued certification including participating in quality audits.
  • Ensure that risk assessments are undertaken by resource supervisors or Client personnel where changes to plant, people or processes are required as part of routine maintenance execution, as per risk management procedures.
  • Conduct and ensure that all resources engaged for maintenance execution are appropriately inducted and accredited. Recognize, acknowledge and elevate excellent safety performance.
  • Respond to client requests in relation to maintenance execution and maintain Client relationships.
  • Ensure that objectives and activities are linked to, and support Company and client expected outcomes which includes the delivery on the respective Business Unit KPI’s and working ratio targets.
  • Review actual hours and planned hours associated with maintenance execution, ensuring time sheets and work orders are reconciled & compliance to associated site procedures including the management of work order scopes.
  • Analyze history, monitoring performance benchmarks and developing performance continuous improvement program in the area (including identifying projects, prioritizing, assigning responsibility, resourcing, managing and monitoring their implementation).
  • Mentor and coaching direct reports in the maintenance team and lead by example and promote the quality and customer service culture and continuous improvement, by actively pursuing changes that can reduce cost, increase productivity or improved quality.
  • Promote cooperation with Supervisors in resource sharing, e.g., tools and equipment, people, ideas and expertise.
  • Manage & control costs associated to the maintenance by adhering to financial processes (e.g., payroll requirements) to enable accurate recovery of contract costs.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree + 6 Years of Experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Fundamental proficiency of design and operating principles of static and rotating equipment.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the safety, environmental and quality systems.
  • Working proficiency with MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong leadership skills and previous experience as a superintendent in heavy industrial plants/refineries and/or maintenance projects.
  • Possess a thorough knowledge of all engineering disciplines, mechanical plant maintenance and job site management.
  • Strong communication, team work, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Skills in coaching and developing others, including the ability to motivate.
  • Safety tickets and orientations required, as per client/project's requirement.
  • Able to travel, when required and a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • Previous experience as Maintenance Manager in an Oil and Gas facility would be a huge asset
  • Computer literacy including MS Projects and/or Primavera.
  • Trades/journeyman qualifications are an asset.
  • MMP certification is a strong asset.
