Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance, coordinate cross‑department activities, and ensure the production of quality product on schedule and within budget. You will enforce safety, GMP, and company policies while driving continuous improvement across the maintenance team.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent maintenance experience, with at least five years in a supervisory capacity in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or related maintenance experience; or equivalent combination.
• Minimum of five years in a maintenance supervisory/management role in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follow and enforce safety, health, quality GMP policies and procedures.
• Develop methods to optimize manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs.
• Participate in staff, shift and safety meetings; conduct departmental meetings and training.
• Assist in planning meetings; support operational planning.
• Work with Engineering on equipment improvements to boost performance.
• Investigate breakdowns and implement root-cause solutions.
• Manage maintenance budget and reduce unnecessary purchases.
• Hire, train and develop shift personnel.
• Coordinate with vendors and support special projects.
• Travel up to 25% may be required.
