Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II to lead and optimize sanitation operations in a food processing facility. You will supervise the sanitation crew, manage budgets, and ensure safety protocols, equipment maintenance, and timely service delivery.

You will coordinate with area managers and customers, uphold Fortrex standards, and drive continuous improvement across sanitation programs and ERP-based processes.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Manage site expenditures within approved budgets and control labor, supplies, and chemicals.
• Monitor safety audits, reports, and daily operations to ensure P&L and customer service standards.
• Lead and develop sanitation staff: hire, train, coach, and evaluate performance.
• Coordinate with customers and regulatory agencies as needed and ensure compliance with procedures.
