Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II to lead sanitation operations, manage budgets, and supervise a sanitation crew at one of our processing facilities. You will coordinate with customers, ensure safety and compliance, and drive continuous improvement in sanitation programs.

The role emphasizes people leadership, ERP/technology use, and adherence to corporate procedures in a fast-paced production environment. On-site work with rounding demands and a strong focus on food safety.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• General working knowledge of computers/technology (Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Ability to wear PPE and work in extreme temperature environments.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Oversee budgeting and control site expenditures.
• Lead sanitation crew and supervise daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and policies.
• Act as liaison with customers and regulatory agencies.
• Conduct safety audits and train staff.
