Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Manager II for its food processing sanitation operations in Alabama. The role leads the sanitation team, manages the budget, and ensures safety and quality standards across daily activities.

You will coordinate with Area Managers and Corporate HR to maintain, document, and improve sanitation processes while delivering reliable service to customers and preserving food safety commitments.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant sanitation experience.
• Ability to read, write, add and subtract.
• PPE usage in a processing environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and implement strategy for operational management to meet performance, safety, timeliness, and budget requirements.
• Manage and control site expenditures within approved budgets.
• Monitor and report on operational issues, opportunities, and improvements.
• Attend sanitation meetings with customers and regulators as needed.
• Lead and develop sanitation staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and scheduling.
