Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is recruiting for a Site Manager – Cladding & Facades to lead quality cladding and building envelope projects from site. You will work with a project manager to ensure smooth delivery of major schemes, liaising with clients, labour, subcontractors and suppliers.

The ideal candidate has site management or supervisory experience in façades or cladding, holds a CSCS card and relevant SMSTS/SSSTS certs, and possesses strong people-management and IT skills.

Qualifications

• Must have site management or site supervisor experience within façades, cladding or related.
• CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS or related certification (IPAF / First Aid / CPCS Slinger / PASMA / RAMS / Working at Heights) desired.
• Excellent people management skills and a full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Promote a high quality range of cladding, façade and building envelope projects.
• Support the project manager to ensure smooth delivery of major projects.
• Liaise with main client, direct labour, sub-contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Prepare work tasks for the installations team and plan works.
• Order materials to site and process purchase orders.
• Monitor stages to ensure resources meet delivery schedules within budget.
• Receive and manage deliveries and site logistics.
• Carry out health & safety reports, QA, snagging and close out.
• Manage projects up to £5m.

The role of the Site Manager – Cladding & Facades will involve:

• Site Manager position, promoting a high quality range of cladding, façade and building envelope projects.
• Site based role supporting the project manager ensuring the smooth running of major projects
• Liaising with main client, direct labour, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other external and internal stakeholders
• Preparing work tasks for the installations team and strategic planning of works
• Ordering materials to site and processing purchase orders
• Monitoring each stage of the project ensuring resources are productive and the delivery schedule is being met within budget
• Receiving and managing deliveries and site logistics
• Carrying out health & safety reports, quality assurance, snagging, and close out with daily
• Managing projects ranging in value up-to £5m

The ideal applicant will be a Site Manager – Cladding & Facades with:

• Must have Site Management or Site Supervisor experience within façades, cladding or related
• Ideally will have a CSCS Card & SMSTS/SSSTS or related certification (IPAF / First Aid / CPCS Slinger / PASMA / RAMS / Working at Heights)
• Excellent people management skills
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Motivated, confident and articulate
• Ability to plan and organise deliverables
