Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Program Manager to oversee contractor site resources and coordinate with functional managers in a secure government setting in Colorado. You will support the enterprise Program Manager in reviewing systems administration, resources, procedures, and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring services are delivered within guidelines and budgets.

You will lead a capable workforce for SOW tasks, maintain communication with Government POCs, and monitor cost,

Qualifications

• Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with polygraph.
• Minimum of five years' experience managing programs/projects of similar size, scope and complexity.
• Documented experience working in secure government environments.
• Management experience with P&L responsibility.
• Personnel management experience with excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient knowledge of project management concepts to manage schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Use established program management procedures to monitor cost, schedule, inventory, and performance; assess variances and take corrective action.
• Identify potential downstream issues and provide mitigation recommendations.
• Manage customer expectations with proactive, transparent communication.

Job description

• Direct all contractor site resources in coordination with functional managers


• Support the enterprise Program Manager in reviewing business systems administration, resources, procedures and methods to improve operational effectiveness, utility and efficiency


• Ensure all services are delivered and all tasks are performed within established program guidelines and budgets


• Provide and lead an appropriately skilled workforce to carry out the functions of the SOW


• Notify Government POCs of significant facility events


• Monitor the execution of financial activities to ensure alignment with Government execution requirements per fiscal year


• Ensure continuity of support with contractor personnel changes and approve staffing alignments /allocations


• Interface with and be responsive to the site CO, COTR, CLIN Manager, GPOC or their designee for day-to-day direction and prioritization of work


• Support meetings and discussions on an ad hoc basis as required


• Identify issues and adapt program plans according to the Customer feedback on program cost, performance, quality, schedule and risk.


• Use established program management procedures to monitor cost, schedule, inventory, and performance; assess variances of the plan and take necessary corrective action.


• Identify potential downstream issues that may negatively affect meeting requirements and provide recommendations to mitigate negative impacts


• Manage customer expectations with proactive, consistent and transparent communication.

Requirements

• Proficient knowledge and experience in the use of project management concepts to manage items including, but not limited to: project schedule, scope, cost, risk, and deliverables and related metrics


• Familiarity and willingness to manage a 24/7/365 operational environment


• Highly effective organizational, interpersonal, communication, and group leadership skills


• Ability to reliably operate in a complex and changing environment, demonstrating solid independent judgment


• Ability to interpret, capture, and manage customer requirements and expectations


• Experience managing facility management, operations, and sustainment projects.
