Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Program/People Manager in Kentucky to guide project teams and ensure delivery within scope, budget, and schedule. The role emphasizes governance, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement across programs.

You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, drive Agile practices, and coordinate with executives while maintaining strong relationships with sponsors and customers. A Bachelor's degree and PMP are preferred, with travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience.

Ability to travel up to 10% of time.
Typically requires 2+ years of relevant experience in Program and People Management.
2+ years of relevant experience in cybersecurity SAFe Framework / Agile Experience

Provide guidance and support to project managers in resolving complex project challenges.
Administer company policies that directly affect subordinate employees.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
Apply company policies and procedures to resolve variety of issues.
Build strong relationships with executive sponsors, business leaders, and project stakeholders.
Facilitate steering committee meetings.
Communicate project status, key decisions, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.
Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.
Ensure projects are delivered according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Promote program governance, status reporting, and executive communications.
