Job summary

C&W Services is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations at a single site in Visalia, CA. You will lead safety initiatives, manage PM/PdM programs, and coach maintenance technicians to drive reliability and efficiency.

This role reports to the Maintenance Manager or Regional Maintenance Manager and focuses on keeping equipment operating at peak performance. Qualified candidates have 3+ years in a maintenance leadership role, strong knowledge of

Qualifications

3+ years in a management role overseeing maintenance teams.
Proficient in preventive/predictive maintenance and repairs on electrical and mechanical equipment.
Flexibility to work all shifts, including holidays and weekends, as required by operational needs.

Responsibilities

Safety Leadership: Champion a safety-first culture by ensuring compliance with safety protocols, safety training, and regular safety audits.
Operational Excellence: Lead PM/PdM programs to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime; track KPIs like PM/PdM completion and OEE.
Leadership and Team Development: Supervise maintenance technicians, conduct regular 1:1s and team huddles, and develop high-potential individuals.
Collaboration and Client Support: Serve as on-site contact for maintenance issues and provide feedback for continuous improvements.
