Job summary

DSV Albuquerque is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping, ensuring service and cost objectives are met. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, coordinate with customers, manage space and equipment, and lead a team of supervisors.

Under the General Manager, you will hire, train, and develop staff, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with SOPs and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
• 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement systems for safe and profitable operations.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals.
• Lead continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with client KPIs and quality systems.
• Hire, train, and evaluate staff; manage performance.
• Coordinate with HR on hiring and development.
• Plan daily work and assign warehouse staff.
