Site Leader Job Summary:

Our Client is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Site Leader to join their recycled PET (rPET) manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Operations Management, Team Leadership, Safety and Compliance, Quality, Logistics, Maintenance, Budget Management, and Continuous Improvement. This role demands a leader with extensive manufacturing experience, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to sustainability and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of manufacturing, ensuring efficient and effective recycled PET production.
2. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop supervisors, operators, and technicians, fostering safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
3. Safety and Compliance: Ensure the facility complies with all regulations and promote a strong safety culture.
4. Quality Control: Maintain high product quality through rigorous quality processes and monitoring.
5. Resource Management: Optimize raw materials, equipment, and labor to maximize productivity and reduce waste.
6. Maintenance Oversight: Implement preventive maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
7. Budget Management: Prepare and manage the facility's budget, controlling costs and achieving operational goals.
8. Reporting: Regularly report KPIs, metrics, and progress to senior management.
9. Continuous Improvement: Identify and lead process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency initiatives.
10. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main contact for internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, customers, and regulators.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in manufacturing management, preferably in plastics or recycling.
• Knowledge of recycled PET processes and technologies.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Understanding of safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with budget and financial management.
• Proficiency in manufacturing software and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, thermal, and chemical processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in post-consumer recycled plastics processing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, FDA, and food-grade rPET standards.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar process design software.
