Job summary

Adventures Plus seeks an experienced Site Coordinator to supervise staff and oversee program development at a school site, handling before/after care, non-school days, and summer sessions. You’ll manage staffing to maintain ratios, ensure safety requirements, and collaborate with district staff.

The role emphasizes coaching, monthly staff meetings, and implementing engaging activities for children while adhering to site policies. Start ASAP with a welcoming, team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate aptitude for working with school-age children.
• Bachelor’s degree as described or equivalent with supervisory experience.
• Experience in staff supervision and program delivery within child care or school settings.

Responsibilities

• Staff staffing to maintain appropriate ratios based on enrollment.
• Monitor accountability and staff ratios during program hours.
• Ensure DHS requirements (staffing, training, reporting, health and safety) are met.
• Create and train staff on site emergency plans and procedures.
• Follow Adventures Plus and Anoka Hennepin School District policies and train staff accordingly.
• Lead monthly staff meetings and provide coaching/feedback to staff.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities meeting site standards and initiatives.
• Communicate expectations clearly and support staff to achieve them.
• Work cooperatively with other coordinators and school personnel.
