Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of paid experience, including partial leadership over staff in an organized child care setting.
• 12 semester units (or equivalent) in early childhood education or child development with core areas: growth/development; child, family & community; program/curriculum.
• Possess and maintain First Aid & CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise the daily operations of before/after-school programs.
• Instruct and train staff in child motivation and positive behavior.
• Develop staff schedules and assist in recruitment and evaluations.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and inventory; manage budgets and clerical records.
