Job summary

Leeward Renewable Energy is seeking an experienced Site Lead (P3) to oversee maintenance and repairs for wind power plants. You will work with the plant manager to improve performance and profitability across the site, at locations nationwide, in a role that blends technical leadership with strategic operations.

This position requires managing safety, budgets, scheduling, and coordination of internal teams and contractors, with on-call availability and travel as needed to support multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or technical field.
• 5 years wind turbine technician experience with leadership.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• High voltage switching, troubleshooting, and repair experience preferred.
• Inventory control experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Plant Manager in annual budgets and scheduling of plant activities.
• Responsible for all safety at the power plant level.
• Oversee site personnel, contractors, and quality completion of scheduled activities or repairs.
• Create purchase requests and work orders in the maintenance system; approve as needed.
• Communicate status updates and plant reporting; interact with customers and landowners.
