Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. seeks a site lead for the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) / Mobile Detection Deployment Unit (MDDU).

This role will manage deployments, coordinate taskings, and ensure readiness of radiological/nuclear detection equipment across locations for national security events. The position requires travel 50–75% of the month within the U.S., knowledge of PRD/RIID equipment, and a SECRET clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience in chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear CBRN detection with emphasis on R/N detection.
• 10 years relevant experience in R/N detection training and supporting preventive R/N detection mission operations at special events or during steady state operations.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment repetitively.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a dually pickup with fifth wheel trailer.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, organize and report on all program planning and management taskings.
• Deploy equipment when needed and transport detection equipment via towable trailer to locations designated by the client.
• Coordinate, initiate and track deployments of the assigned equipment.
• Ensure detection equipment is repaired, calibrated, and maintained for deployment 24/7/365.
• Provide coverage during standard and non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Provide just-in-time training on deployed equipment to stakeholders at events.
• Ensure completion of After-Action Reports (AAR) at deployments.
• Assist with scheduling of off-site staff to support surge deployments.
• Provide status updates to the Program Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
