Job summary

MELE Associates, Inc. in Novato, CA seeks a Program Manager to lead the Mobile Detection Deployment Program (MDDP) and Mobile Detection Deployment Unit (MDDU) supporting radiological/nuclear detection for national events.

You will coordinate field deployments, logistics, and staff, ensuring successful task completion and rotational deployment readiness. The role requires 12+ years in R/N detection, experience with radiological instrumentation, and ability to travel 50-75% of the time.

Qualifications

• Extensive program management experience on national security or CBRN programs.
• 12+ years in R/N detection training and operations at events or steady state.
• Experience with radiological/nuclear detection instrumentation and field deployments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise regional MDDU deployments and support CBRN detection capabilities.
• Provide program management, field operations, logistics and fleet support.
• Develop and deploy detection surge deployments for expanded capacity.
• Augment existing capability structures with detection tech and experts.
• Coordinate with multi-agency planning and threat detection activities.
• Maintain training and technical support for detection equipment.
