Job summary

Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a Phlebotomy Representative - Site Lead for Sundays through Thursdays, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The role requires a state phlebotomy license and a minimum of two years of phlebotomy experience.

Pay starts at $25 per hour with performance bonus potential. The ideal candidate will perform specimen collection and processing, ensure accurate labeling, and deliver professional patient and client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Phlebotomy certification required in CA, NV, WA, and LA.
• High School diploma or equivalent (required).

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen collections following established procedures for tests including venipuncture and capillary draws.
• Obtain patient identification and signatures to confirm specimen labeling accuracy. Perform data entry as necessary.
• Prepare specimens for transport and testing, including labeling, centrifuging, splitting, and storage as required by test order.
• Research test/client information and confirm and verify all written and electronic orders by utilizing lab technology systems or directory of services.
• Independently resolve routine patient and client concerns and escalate non-routine issues appropriately.
• Provide professional, respectful service to all patients and clients. Use strong communications and collaboration to complete daily procedures.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.
• Direct daily operations at site, coaching on-site staff as necessary.
• Ensure daily activities of the office are completed accurately and on time.
