You will oversee a team of Lab Operations Managers, coordinate with Facilities, Finance, IT and procurement, and ensure compliance with Novartis procedures. The role focuses on budget management, CAPEX oversight, vendor program strategy, and cross-site alignment with research teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in relevant discipline.
• 8-10+ years of operations experience in a lab setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Accountability for Lab Operations strategy & execution across Mariana sites.
• Manage Lab Operations Manager teams and ensure cross-site continuity.
• Oversee Lab Operations budget and CAPEX; align with Finance and Procurement.
• Lead lab vendor program strategy in consultation with Lab Managers and Research team members.
• Ensure compliance with Novartis procedures; manage shipping, biosample handling and related checks.
• Interface with Facilities, HSE, IT and other departments to support operations.
• Escalation point for Lab Operations issues; drive appropriate resolutions.
