Job summary

Mariana Oncology, Inc. is seeking a Site Lead, Lab Operations to oversee daily lab operations at the 100 Forge Rd site in Watertown, MA. You will manage consumables, storage, vendors and the end-to-end lifecycle of lab equipment while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Collaborating with researchers and the Office Manager, you will drive facility upkeep, lab IT readiness, and process improvements to support assays and compound management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 5-7+ years’ experience in operations within a lab setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT).
• Strong organizational skills and detail orientation.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily lab operations at 100 Forge Rd site, including cleanliness and setup.
• Manage lab consumables, storage, purchasing, and vendor relationships.
• Oversee lab safety compliance and interface with onsite HSE.
• Manage laboratory equipment lifecycle, procurement, installation and maintenance.
• Coordinate lab IT requirements and researcher requests.
• Collaborate with Office Manager on facility upkeep and shipping/receiving.
• Support compound management and lab data management as needed.
