Job summary

i2G Systems in Port Washington, WI seeks a Lead Technician to manage site installations of security solutions for new and existing clients. You will work with internal teams, external subcontractors, and clients to ensure project success, with a focus on training replacements and advancing into project management.

Key tasks include following project schedules, coordinating multiple technicians, reviewing drawings and specs, performing installation and training, troubleshooting, and documenting

Qualifications

• Knowledge of general access control systems; Lenel/Genetec preferred.
• Understanding of electronic security systems and onsite labor needs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office apps (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Able to work independently and in a team; strong organization and detail-orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; manage multiple priorities.
• Customer focus and commitment to client satisfaction.
• 5–7 years of physical/electronic security experience.

Responsibilities

• Follow and track project scheduling.
• Direct subcontractor and internal resource communications.
• Manage multiple technicians and subcontractors.
• Read and understand specifications, drawings, and documents; keep docs current.
• Perform installation and training on control systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain security systems for customers.
• Coordinate project activities with internal and external parties.
• Document and communicate necessary project changes and implement them.
• Maintain work per policies, procedures, and standards.
• Complete final Test and Acceptance of security systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
