Job summary

HITT Contracting is seeking a Commercial Construction Assistant Superintendent for Advanced Manufacturing in Falls Church, VA. You will support the project manager in scheduling, ensure proper installation methods, and maintain safety and quality across trades.

The role involves organizing the site team, coordinating with subcontractors, and expediting long-lead items. Ideal candidates have 2–5 years in commercial construction, familiarity with ProCore/BlueBeam, and a strong focus on

Qualifications

High school diploma required.
4-year degree strongly preferred (construction, engineering or business).
2–5 years’ experience in commercial construction.
Experience with a commercial general contractor.
OSHA 30 Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Support project manager in formulating project schedule and ensure proper methods/sequence of installation.
Maintain quality standards and relationships with subcontractors.
Document daily work orders/tickets and identify problems early to provide solutions.
Organize the site team and arrange facilities/utilities; identify long-lead items for expediting.
